What is the difference between the Series 7 and Series 9 Air Conditioners?
The 7 series runs on Direct Current while the 9 series runs on Alternating Current. Electric current flows in two ways as an alternating current (AC) or direct current (DC). In alternating current, the current keeps switching directions periodically – forward and backward. While in the direct current it flows in a single direction steadily. Therefore, the DC motor alone is 30% more energy efficient than the conventional AC motor.
